Chocolate chip cookies



Makes: 20 cookies


1 1/4 cup all purpose flour/maida

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup butter (at room temp)

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp milk

1/4 cup chocolate chips



Preheat oven at 180 C . Line a baking tray and keep it aside. Sieve all purpose flour, baking soda in a mixing bowl. In another bowl add butter  and mix it till it gets smooth. Add sugar to the butter and whisk it till it becomes soft and fluffy. Add the milk and the vanilla extract and give it a good mix. Add the flour mixture to the butter mix. mix them properly. check there aren’t flour lumps. Fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate this mixture for around 45 minutes. Remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator. Make small 2-3 cm balls and keep them on baking tray. Make sure you leave some space between the balls. Flatten the balls with 2 fingers. Bake them in your oven for 10 mins or till the edges turn golden brown. Remove the tray and let the cookies to cool on a cooling rack. Chocolate chip cookies ready to eat.
