Sabudana Khichdi


Serves 2


  • Sabudana/ Sago seeds: 2 cups (soaked in water for 5 hours)
  • Jeera/ Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Peanuts (coarsely ground) 4 tbsp
  • Chillies 2 slit
  • Lemon 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp


To a pan add 2 tbsp oil. Once the oil is hot add cumin seeds to it and let them fry. Add green chillies and give a good mix. Then add peanuts and let them try. When the peanuts turn brown add salt, sugar and lemon juice to it. Add the soaked Sabudana to this mixture and give it a good mix. Sabudana Khichdi is ready to serve.
