5 medium size boiled potatoes cubed
3 tbsp oil
2.5 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
salt as required
1/2 tsp coriander-cumin powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
water 2 tbsp
In a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil. Add 2.5 tsp cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add all the spices and fry them for 30 seconds. Add the cubed potatoes and mix them well, so that all potatoes are covered with the spice mix. Sprinkle water and switch off the flame and cover it for 5 min. Jeera Aloo is ready to serve.
Enjoy it with roti or parathas.
