Tasty Homemade Low Sugar Mango Jam

Ingredients

  • Fresh Mango or Mango Pulp 850gm
  • 1 small apple with skin (for pectin)
  • 1 lime zest
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/3 cup sugar (the mango pulp used was already sweetened

Preparation

Empty mango pulp into a sauce pan. Blend small apple into smooth paste. Add apple paste into the sauce pan. Add sugar, lime zest, and lime juice. Cook on medium flame until the mixture comes to a simmer.

Then increase flame and cook until it comes to a thick consistency. Test to see that the jam is not of a runny consistency.

Tasty mango jam is ready to enjoy.
