- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1½ cup semolina/sooji/ Rava
- ½ cup maida/ all purpose flour
- ¼ cup yogurt whisked
- 1 cup milk adjust consistency
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
Preheat the oven to 180 C. In a bowl mix melted butter, sugar till they become fluffy/ creamy in texture. In another bowl mix Maida, Semolina, baking powder and baking soda. Add yoghurt and milk to the butter mixture and add rava- maida mixture to it. Mix well and let it sit for 20 min for the rava to absorb moisture. Grease a baking tin and add the mix to it. Bake it in the preheated oven at 180 C for 30 – 35 min. Check the cake by inserting a skewer. Transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely.
