Banana Chips

Ingredients:

  • 2 large raw bananas
  • 2 tsp salt
  • water
  • pinch of turmeric
  • coconut oil for deep-frying

Preparation:

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Peel the bananas with a knife. Mix salt and turmeric in 4 tbsp of water. Make sure the salt has dissolved completely. Slice banana using a chip maker or mandoline directly into hot oil. Add 1tbsp of salt turmeric water in the oil and let the chips cook. Continue cooking the chips on a slow flame till they turn crisp. Remove the chips on a paper towel. Repeat the procedure with all the remaining bananas.
