Ingredients:
- 2 cups soaked and boiled kala chana
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp ajmo/ carom seeds
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- salt to taste
- pinch asafoetida
- 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a pan and add carom seeds. When the seeds crackle, add asafoetida, onions and ginger garlic paste and cook it. Add tomatoes and cook for 2 min. Add the spices and cook them for 1 min. Add the boiled chana and give it a good mix. Sprinkle some water if needed. Ready to serve Kala Chana nu Shak. Enjoy it with Rotis and Kadhi.
