Beetroot Burger



  • 3 Large Beetroots (grated)
  • 2 medium sized potato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Olive Oil


Boil 2 medium Potatoes in salted water. Mash the potatoes.

Heat some olive oil in a pan, add grated beetroot and saute. Add salt, black pepper, and oregano. Add mashed potato into the pan and cook until most of the moisture has evaporated. Let the mixture cool down.

Form burger patties with the mixture. Add some olive oil into a fry pan and shallow fry patty to form nice brown crust on both sides. Add patty to a burger bun with your favorite condiments and enjoy a hearty vegetarian burger.

Serve this beetroot burger with a side of fries or onion rings.
